Busy Family on a Sunday?
No time for church?
​Think again!

We understand that in this day and age there are many family activities that can sometimes be scheduled for a Sunday.

We want church to be one of those activities.

​To enable our church families to do church on a Sunday as well as all the other activities (like football matches, family outings, birthday parties etc) we have a service early on a Sunday morning, at 9 am for half an hour, to still have time for all the other things that a busy family has going on at the weekend.

Bible

As we no longer have a 'Sunday School' we use the Rise and Shine service as a space where families can learn about the bible and Christian values.

Contemporary 
​Music

Our Rise and Shine Family Worship has more contemporary music than our traditional 10.30 am service.
We have a collection of percussion instruments that the children are welcome to use to make a joyful noise in praise to our Lord!

Communion included

We try to hold a Family Communion at our Rise and Shine Family Worship once a quarter, depending on the availability of our ordained minister.

Informal
​Space

Our Rise and Shine family worship is a space for kids to be kids, they can run around, sit and do colouring and word activities,
​and join in as much or as little as they like.
​They won't be expected to sit still and be quiet!
